Booking tips:

Getting there (from India (major metros)):

For a three-day break, fly into Goa and compare both Goa airport options before booking; choose the one closest to your first and last areas rather than assuming one airport is always better.

Pick your airport by region: GOI (Dabolim) for Palolem, Agonda, Colva, and Margao. GOX (Mopa) for Anjuna, Vagator, Morjim, and Calangute. Wrong airport = ₹700-1,200 cab bill.

Goa's taxi cartel runs fixed, non-negotiable inflated rates. Use the GoaMiles app (metered) or rent a scooter (₹300-400/day) for everything except airport runs.

Beach shacks, water sports, and most rental shops shut from mid-June through September (monsoon). The sea is unsafe for swimming during this period.

Konkan Railway from Mumbai CST (9 hrs) or Bangalore (10 hrs) is scenic, costs ₹500-1,200 in sleeper, and drops you at Madgaon - far cheaper than flights if you have time.

Day 1: North Goa Beach-Hopping

Keep the first day lively but geographically sensible: settle into North Goa, then move toward Anjuna and Chapora Fort for cooler late-afternoon light.

Eat: The Fisherman's Wharf Calangute, - Choose a seafood dish or a lighter coastal meal after the beach circuit.

Evening: Wind down with dinner at The Fisherman's Wharf Calangute,.

Budget for the day: ₹2,400-4,600

Day 2: Waterfall and Old Goa

This is the trip's hardest day: Dudhsagar Falls needs an early start, while Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral reward a quieter afternoon.

Evening: Return early after Se Cathedral; the Dudhsagar Falls day is tiring even when the road transfers run smoothly.

Budget for the day: ₹4,600-8,500

Day 3: South Goa Coast and City

Move south for a slower beach morning, then use the evening for a compact Fontainhas stop before your departure or final dinner.

Budget for the day: ₹4,200-7,200
