(15)hu Firenze camping in town
had a wonderful experience at this camp! The houses were extremely clean and well-maintained, and the swimming pool was spotless and very inviting. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful – it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. One of the best features is the shuttle bus service inside the camp, which makes it super easy to get to the heart of Florence without any hassle. The camp is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for meditation or simply unwinding. There’s also
David
สวย! The Galleria dell'Accademia is an essential stop in Florence! The entire visit revolves around one magnificent sculpture: Michelangelo's David. It is truly spectacular, grand, and unequivocally one of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance, if not the century! Seeing this iconic work in person is absolutely breathtaking and a moment you won't forget. Book your tickets well in advance!
Piazza del Duomo
We didn't go in but this area was jam packed. There were soooo many people here when I went. I know that is definitely to be expected but I don't think I was expecting it to be as busy as it was. Be aware of pickpockets because it is very easy for pickpockets to prey on unsuspecting tourists. The building is s impressive and breathtaking. The marble work is mind blowing!!
Piazzale Michelangelo
Such a beautiful experience! In order to see the beautiful views at the top, you have to walk about 10-15 minutes up an incline with stairs/ ramps. It's not too bad once you take your time. The view of Florence from the top of the Plaza is unreal, you have a panoramic view and can take great pictures. There are many food/ drink/ trinket vendors across the Plaza as well as benches to sit. It's free entry and you can stay as long/ little as you'd like. I highly recommend making the time to visit
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
Climbed the Dome and the Bell Tower. An absolutely incredible experience. You get to see the Dome interior fresco up close. Up at the top, you get the whole view of Florence which is stunning and breathtaking. Highly recommend anyone who are physically fit to do the climb and remember to buy tickets in advance as tickets will be sold out for the day.
Piazza della Signoria
You don't want to miss this plaza when you are in Florence. Most especially where the replica of David is on display. What a sight! So many excited happy and smiling people i this place. A lot of curious work of art.
Giotto's Bell Tower
Ponte Vecchio
The Ponte Vecchio is more than just a bridge; it's a living legend and a must-see landmark of Florence. On both sides of the bridge, tiny houses cluster together, essentially shops overhanging the river. This creates the atmosphere of a medieval quarter that has miraculously survived to this day. Now, as many centuries ago, the bridge is primarily occupied by jewelry shops. The display cases, adorned with gold and precious stones, glitter even in the shadow of the bridge. Stopping by these displ
Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence
Of the many historical sites that are in Florence, this one became our favorite…and we were not expecting that. It is the resting place of Michelangelo and Galileo among many others. It was interesting to walk about and discover all those that rest there. It was peaceful. It’s also accessible for wheelchair users. We had free admission because I’m in a wheelchair.

Piazza della Repubblica
Piazza della Repubblica, is one of the largest and most historically significant squares in Florence. It is considered the beating heart of the Tuscan capital, where past and present meet and life rages at any hour of the day or night. It is surrounded by ancient buildings and narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages and Renaissance, as well as cozy cafés and luxurious restaurants with outdoor terraces where you can sip a cup of aromatic Italian coffee while watching the hundreds of tourist

Fontana del Porcellino
A small attraction that's still interesting. It's located on the corner of a trade fair, where you can buy clothing or souvenirs. I recommend going early, before 9:00 a.m. local time, as later there are many tourists and tour groups trying to toss coins, and it's impossible to get close comfortably.

il Mercato Centrale Firenze

Porta Romana
walking distance through the old town. food options are varied.

Boboli Gardens
Absolutely stunning. There were some cleaning crews doing maintenance on some parts of the garden, so we were unable to access everything, but the parts we did see were worthy of the admission price. There is a TON of walking up inclines. Be prepared. I was not :/.

Stazione Ferroviaria Firenze Santa Maria Novella
Who knew that Italy's train system would be a great way to travel from city to city, north to south. The trains include executive, business, and budget seating. Business is affordable and comfortable with roomy seating. We traveled from Rome to Florence to Venice and the Bologna. Comfortable. On time. Great way to travel through Italy.
Best Restaurants
(15)Gelateria La Carraia
Listen up, gelato lovers — Gelateria La Carraia isn’t just good, it’s “drop everything and move to Florence” good. The texture? Silky perfection. The flavors? A full-on Italian love affair in a cup. You’ll swear off sad supermarket gelato forever after one bite. Honestly, if heaven has a dessert counter, it’s probably run by La Carraia. 🍦✨ Best. Gelato. Ever. Don’t argue — just go.
Trattoria Sabatino
Cozy, family-run trattoria specializing in Florentine steaks & pastas with Tuscan wines.
Trattoria Zà Zà
Amazing food and vibes. Big restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We asked the waiter for recommendations and he did not disappoint. We got the bruschetta, rigatoni with tomato basil and buffalo mozzarella, and beef with rosemary potatoes. Everything was so simply wonderful. Tiramisu was recommended, and was very good but different.
Gustapizza
Loved the pizza here! We had the margarita, gusta pizza, and the truffle — all were delicious! The hospitality was great as well, our waiter was so nice and funny! Will definitely be back!
Trattoria Dall'Oste
We ordered eggplant as a starter. the portion was huge and super tasty. For the main dish, we had the Florentine steak. It was amazing and really filling for two people! We also ordered potatoes on the side a perfect match. For wine, we had a Chianti Classico red, and everything was just excellent. The price is a bit on the higher side (around 200–250 euros), but totally worth it for the quality and taste.
Osteria Pastella
You need to reserve! You will be asked to add your credit card to make the reservation. If you don't show up, you are charged 10 euros per person. Good for this restaurant to do so! I guess they were tired of no shows! This restaurant runs like a tightly run ship. You pick your time slot and when you get to the restaurant, you need to wait in line. After about 5 minutes you are seated. We ordered the calamari which was super delicate and soft to start. Then we had the Lamb and saffron risott
Grand Hotel Baglioni
This hotel has an amazing location. It’s 5 minutes from the train station and also very close to all major attractions in the city. We walked everywhere and there were stores, restaurants and a lot of museums. The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. We got an upgrade for our room for free and it was just so lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice resting area with a dining table and a sofa. The shower was so relaxing and the bathroom also had a small sauna on i
Trattoria Mario
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, the best meal of my entire trip through Europe. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere warm and full of life. At this restaurant, you can truly feel the essence of Italy, family, and tradition in every dish. I highly recommend it, a place you must visit to experience authentic and delicious Italian food. The amount of food is plentiful and the prices are very reasonable.
The Antico Ristoro di Cambi
Florentine steaks, homestyle local dishes & Tuscan wine in a venerable space with vaulted ceilings.

La Ménagère
We came on a cool September night and sat outside while we enjoyed some cocktail. Cool jazz and r&b soul music. The vibe here is impeccable, from the decor to the music to the energy of the space. We ordered the Royal Garibaldi, and it was fresh, crisp, and so balanced. Definitely a step up from your usual spritz, it’s complex and bright, just like the atmosphere. If you’re in Florence and want to soak in an unforgettable evening with great drinks and even better vibes, this is the place. Can’

I' Girone De' Ghiotti
Been in Italy 5 days and this could just be the best meal we have had so far. My wife got the #2 and I got the #7. They were heavenly ( as if Michaelangelo’s hands of God had made the sandwiches). The meat, the bread , the dressing. Had it for lunch and thinking about going back for dinner. The line outside extended down to the end of the block and took about 25 minutes. It would have been worth an hour. Also there are a few tables upstairs that no one seems to use which means we did no

FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo
Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had such an amazing experience at FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating — they let us leave our bags before check-in and even after check-out, which made our trip so much easier. Everyone was so kind, smiling, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The room was absolutely fantastic — spotless, spacious, and full of thoughtful details like bathrobes and slippers (which we haven’t seen in

Trattoria 13 Gobbi
Amazing food. Reservation is a must, the place is always full. Great Italian authentic cuisine. Ordered the Bistecca a la Fiorentina and the classic Rigatoni in a soup bowl. The house tiramisu is fantastic. Great server attention and ambiance.

McDonald's
You may think it's blasphemous to eat at McDonald's in Italy but sometimes you just want a taste of home or a quick meal. Conveniently located across from Santa Maria Novella train station this Mickey D's is a great place for a pit stop on your Italian journey wherever you may be headed. Some unique items I got was the double bacon burger, Parmesan snack, Asiago bites and a cheese toastie. Everything was delicious and this one of the best meals I've had at McDonald's. This location does get crow

McDonald's
A convenient place to rest during your tour of the Florence city center and near the Michelangelo Museum.. McDonald's quality is everywhere as it is undisputedly good with reasonable prices and a free toilet for customers inside.. There is seating in the restaurant, seating outside and a larger seating area on the basement

(15)Rooster Cafe Firenze
Foods are all good. We loved egg benedict, omellete and blue berry pankes here! All staffs were so nice and welcoming! Loved the decoration on my capuccino too. They gave my little daughter a pink baloon for greetings! Highly recommend this place.
Loggia Roof Bar
I was on a solo trip to Florence for my birthday and I could not be happier that I spent it here. The staff at Loggia made me feel so special! The service was unlike any other and I could not stop smiling. The view is amazing and the drinks go down super easy they were so delicious! I will 100% be coming back here next time I’m in Florence and recommend it to all my friends! Thank you Loggia for such a wonderful evening!
Wine window
Visiting the Wine Window was an absolutely wonderful experience! The atmosphere was charming and unique, and I loved the idea of being served wine through the little historic window — it felt like stepping back in time. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the wine was excellent. My friend ordered a spritz, and it was absolutely amazing — she loved it! We both had such a great time, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It was truly a lovely experience!
Ostello Bello Firenze - Hostel and Bar
Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at!! I stayed in a female dorm for 6 and the room had 2 bathrooms which was great! It was divided into two small rooms so it felt more like 4 of us in one side and 2 of other girls on the other side. This made the room much more spacious. The rooms were super clean, had no problems at all! The amenities in the kitchen were amazing, the free food they offer in the kitchen includes all you could ask for as a backpacker! There are also parties or some activities held a
Eataly Firenze
Nice place to eat. Must visit place for Italian kitchen products. Everything is high quality. Helpful stuff.
Locale Firenze
Atmosphere: 10/10 Located not far from the Duomo, Locale Firenze transports you into a palazzo from the 1200s, balancing medieval architecture with modern elegance. The half open-air concept, soaring ceilings, chandeliers, antique furniture, and plenty of greenery make it one of the most dramatic bar spaces in Florence. Music volume is spot on, the backbar is stunning, and seating is ample both at the counter and for groups. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Kenmoonshine Unfortunately, the menu is d
View on Art Rooftop Cocktail Bar
Breathtaking view of Duomo. Service & staff were great. We made reservations a day before so getting in and service was very efficient. Prices for drinks for such an experience well worth it. highly recommended this rooftop bar.
YAB | Discoteca Firenze
A great night out, so much fun. Good prices, the entry fee includes a ticket to get a free drink at the bar. The crowd is so friendly, everyone is happy to dance and talk with each other, feels so welcoming. Never had an experience quite like it - I can’t wait to come back again. Also it’s nice that the place has accessibility features for people with disabilities, like stairlift. Feels inclusive.
Antica Trattoria da Tito
Everything about this restaurant is amazing: the people, the service, the food, the wine! I had just landed in Florence and was beyond exhausted. My exhaustion wore away the second I sat down. The waiters singing Italian songs, the waitress sitting down with me to go over the menu; the overall mood was great and very uplifting. It’s a cozy place with a lot of character, and you can see it’s appreciated by locals and tourists alike. I had the beef stew and it was absolutely amazing. I almost cr

I Fratellini
Definitely worth a visit for lunch if you're in Florence. In the centre but not over priced and really tasty. A shop across the way had a ridiculous queue and was serving similar items at a higher price - don't fall for what is likely a TikTok trend and go here instead. We got the number 2 and 23 and both were delicious. There are some small stools to perch on in the street if it's not too busy. Very friendly staff. There are two windows you can order from which speeds up the service too.

Red Garter
While visiting Florence, we really wanted to see the Steeler game. We had heard they show the NFL, so we stopped in and asked the manager. When we returned the next day, he had saved us a table and we got to watch our game! Fun atmosphere, with different games going on in different parts of the restaurant. Great hamburgers! The staff couldn't have been nicer. It was a fun experience while traveling! Thank you!

Ristorante Buca Mario
This may have been our best dining experience in Florence…authentic, inviting space, engaging staff, delicious food, and superior wine. Seriously, I am of italian descent, and consider myself a strong cook of all things inherited down from my family. Particular about certain things, and would never order lasagne out in the States. This is the best lasagne I ever had in my life. Wish we could go back and get it again! Enjoy!

Caffè Gilli
My mom and I visited Caffè Gilli, and we were truly impressed by both the service and the quality. Our server, Ilaria, was incredibly helpful and professional. We were in a hurry but really wanted to try this place, so after we mentioned that, she did everything she could to make sure our orders were prepared quickly and I could literally see her trying her best!🥹 We ordered Affogato al Caffè, Tiramisù, and Caffè del Padre. While we were ordering, Ilaria kindly informed us that they didn’t have

Serre Torrigiani
Amazing ambience and surrounding, great food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and the experience was worth the price we paid. The only thing is that it was a bit difficult to find it, as it is located after a parking lot between two streets and there are no signs. It’s quite spacious, we walked in without reservations and we quickly got a table. Very picturesque

Space Club
Hesitant exploring as a tourist due to other reviews here. Had a great time. Great atmosphere, music and drinks.

(15)Scuola del Cuoio S.r.l.
When preparing for my trip to Italy I did a lot of research on leather and was convinced this was the place to visit. As you enter, you walk through a beautiful area until you go to the back, go up the stairs. I was so impressed by the many selections they have. I walked into the leather jacket room and was helped by Saied. He did an excellent job showing me the different jackets, he had much patience as I was trying them on, he answered all of my questions. I ended up returning the next day and
Rinascente Firenze
I like Rinascentre across Italy, at least Roma, Milano, Torino and now in Florence! The selection of clothes is moderate in Florence, at least for me, but food is very good in Florence.
Galleria Commerciale Santa Maria Novella
Basement level shopping center with shops & services in a 1935 railway station building.

Just wow. This affogato is indescribably delicious. The baked goods are flaky and perfect. The gelato is a winner amongst winners. I came here throw joking I a row to start my day off right! The young man at the register, Lorenzo, is a great friendly way to start the day! He is so personable and nice. Thanks for making my civility experience so memorable, Lorenzo. Excellent job. Also, a big thank you to the one and only Phil Rosenthal for leading me to this gem amongst gems! I’ll be dreaming of
